I will counter that Illinois is not lame if you know where to go. I hail from that fine place, granted everything south of Chicago is scary back woods truck stops and Amish country. But I assure you that north of is quite fun.

Congrat’s. Sorry I couldn’t figure this out earlier. I am one of the Long Island Hornets Scooter Club members. We ride every Sunday morning at 10. We meet any time after 9 at the deli in Bellmore. How much time do you guys have. Sunday at 1, after the ride, is a kicking party called TwangStock, run by our founder. You guys are more than welcome to come along for the ride and/or party. We will be riding to the North Shore of Long Island. Plenty of beaches. Hope to see you
