ScooterQuest ‘08 follows three friends as they travel across the Eastern coast of the United States.
It’s been a long wait for Michael, Dustin and I for Scooter Quest, but it’s finally at our doorstep. We’ve had time to plan (though I could use another week or two) and we’ve had our share of issues getting this quest off the ground, but I think the hard work will pay off as we start the adventure to New York City and back. Scooter Quest itself has created quite the buzz around the internets! Zoomrix Was so gracious and helped the Scooter Quest site with such an awesome trailer. Thanks Dude!
I contacted Dave of sctrcst.com and he thought the idea of streaming the event live was amazing.
So we set up an time to sit down and converse with each other via Skype. It was awesome to actually talk to someone who was interested in the tech side of things rather than the ride itself. And to Dave,
I’ll try to make it more interesting next year! Promise.
Here is what Dave had to say about Scooter Quest:
I got an email from Sean Blake about his ride, I said to my self “so what?” Later, I went to his website, Scooter Quest[.com], I realized that this was something different. Sean and his friends are going to use streaming video to let you see the ride as it is happening and give you a chance to participate while they are on the road.
Be sure to check out the podcast.
Also, Theleetgeeks.com have been so awesome and created a video for us via 12seconds.tv as well!

It all started in 2007, with a friend driving from Minnesota to Utah to grab his scooter. Once Dustin Saunders reached Utah, he rode his scooter back to Minnesota with nothing but his friends and the will to drive it back against all odds. In 08' Dustin, Michael, and Sean embarked on a 3000+ mile trip unscathed. Ever since then, we travel in the name of adventure to the most epic places in America.
