ScooterQuest ‘08 follows three friends as they travel across the Eastern coast of the United States.
Well we finally made it to New York early yesterday afternoon. Right in the middle of rush hour. 3 hours and $28 in toll booths later we made it the remaining 42 miles to the hotel ![]()
Now we’re here, getting ready for the wedding and the reception. Berfore/after that I really look forward to some downtown NYC time and a trip out to the beach. It’s been quite a ride so far, but I only wonder what other random crap will happen along the way back.
I did find a set of photo’s that I think describe our trip so far though:

Party on,
-Dustin
It all started in 2007, with a friend driving from Minnesota to Utah to grab his scooter. Once Dustin Saunders reached Utah, he rode his scooter back to Minnesota with nothing but his friends and the will to drive it back against all odds. In 08' Dustin, Michael, and Sean embarked on a 3000+ mile trip unscathed. Ever since then, we travel in the name of adventure to the most epic places in America.

Msg for Mike: I read through the first couple of days on your saga. Sounds like you’re having fun. Stay safe and I’m sure the memories will last forever (or until Alzheimers sets in). Take care and good luck!

Congrat’s. Sorry I couldn’t figure this out earlier. I am one of the Long Island Hornets Scooter Club members. We ride every Sunday morning at 10. We meet any time after 9 at the deli in Bellmore. How much time do you guys have. Sunday at 1, after the ride, is a kicking party called TwangStock, run by our founder. You guys are more than welcome to come along for the ride and/or party. We will be riding to the North Shore of Long Island. Plenty of beaches. Hope to see you
